The Royal Humanitarian Foundation, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has sent its first shipment of relief aid to victims of floods in Libya.

The shipment contained medical supplies and other aid supplies.
As of Sep. 17, the death toll from the catastrophic floods in eastern Libya surpassed 11,000, according to the Libyan Red Crescent.

More than 9,000 people are still missing, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized that Bahrain stands with the people of Libya during this difficult time.
