Love is in the aisles for one happy couple who fell for each other while working at Iceland - and now their children are also looking for romance as they are working for the same supermarket.
Jeremy, 52, and Veraness Tregenna, 51, met when they were both working at the chain's store in Wednesbury, near Birmingham when the famously chilly store warmed their hearts.
She was his supervisor when he joined in 2000 and - while they had spotted her across the room - it wasn't until just days before he was due to leave for another store that he finally plucked up the courage to ask her to dinner.
They got married two years later and never looked back - and now all three of their children have graced the freezer sections.
Mr Tregenna said: 'You get a sixth sense of it - I thought she was giving some signs as well but being a manager it's not really one of those you want to get wrong! It's not something you do every day.
'We were purely professional at work - when I was leaving, that's when I thought was the ideal time to ask her out.
'When my children said they wanted to work at Iceland I was chuffed. The wife was pleased as well - although I was more pleased.
'On my daughter's 16th birthday for the last present we got an Iceland top and wrapped it up.
'When she ripped open the paper she asked "What's this for?" I said: "That's your new shirt when you start work with me next week."
'She just burst into tears because it was all she wanted to do as well.'
Mr and Mrs Tregenna's middle child, Charley, 22, continued to work with her father for three years before being moved to another store.
Their youngest, Libby, 18, also started when she was 16 - although she had to wait until a position opened, meaning she was not able to get started as quickly as her big sister.
And Jarrod, 29, also worked with Iceland for two years before moving on to new things.
Mr Tregenna says he couldn't think of a better job for his children - and joked that it's become the family business.
You feel you can go to work and make a difference, and when I wake up in the morning I actually, believe it or not, want to go to work. I enjoy the job.
'The wife says to me, you'll never retire you - they'll carry you out in a box from Iceland!
'At the conference last year I was talking to Tarsem Dhaliwal [Group CEO of Iceland] and I was telling him about the family.
'I said: "Step aside the Walkers and the Dhaliwals - the Tregennas are coming!"'
Asked if he wondered if his children would follow in his footsteps and find love in the freezer store, he laughed: 'Well, my daughter just got engaged, so I'd be disappointed!'
But Libby's boyfriend is joining in on the family trade, and is looking to move across to Iceland from his job at Asda.
He laughed: 'We all enjoy it and we all seem to talk about it when we get home. Some people don't talk about work - it's probably the opposite at our house where we all have a chinwag about our day.'
Iceland are now claiming to be Britain's most loved-up supermarket, and say their stores have helped hundreds of couples find love.
Colin Rumble and Michelle Goode, who now both work together in Iceland's Scunthorpe store as Manager and Home Delivery Driver, felt sparks flying when he first interviewed her 30 years ago.
Colin, 51 said: 'I interviewed Michelle for a part time cashier role back in Cobham in Surrey in 1995. Obviously, she got the job and in 1996 we became an item! A year later, we had our first child Rosie and in 2005, we had our second child Harry.
'I've worked for Iceland for 35 years and Michelle has worked here for 15 years, we've been lucky enough to have spent the last five years working together in the same store.'
Faye Reilly and George Fox currently work at The Food Warehouse but met in the Iceland's Mansfield store.
Faye said: 'I was a delivery driver at the time and George, who everyone knows as Billy, was working in store.
'We had an amazing friendship and the whole store was behind us when we started to date in August 2022.
'Fast forward to this year and we get married on Friday 23rd May 2025 and our whole store is invited, if it wasn't for Iceland we wouldn't have met.'
Jake Yellop and Natasha Ford met in 2016 at Iceland's Hornchurch store - and finally realised their unspoken crush after their Christmas conference just a year later.
Fast forward eight years and the couple now share a son, Pheonix, who they welcomed last September.
And Kimberley and Matthew Worley met on the supermarket aisles of The Food Warehouse in Wolverhampton in 2019 before marrying just two months ago in December.
Richard Walker, Executive Chairman at Iceland, said: 'Why swipe right when love is already in the aisles? It's incredible to see so many of our colleagues not only finding fulfilling careers with us but also forming lifelong partnerships.
'From wedding bells to growing families, Iceland has truly become a place where love flourishes.
'As a family-focused brand, it's heartwarming to see generations working together under one roof. We wish all our Iceland lovebirds a wonderful Valentine's Day and look forward to many more romance-filled stories in the years to come.'
