Taylor Swift is snubbing the city life in London.

As the chart-topping Blank Space hitmaker brings her Eras Tour to the UK, it's thought she'll be enjoying a slice of the British countryside, instead of staying in the capital. She was expected to move into a lavish five-star hotel, amongst the hustle and bustle.

But now it's reported that she'll nestle herself in a £3.3million cottage in the Cotswolds after leaving Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. Her boyfriend Travis Kelce is expected to join her in the lavish £3,250-a-night farmhouse, located near Chipping Norton.

She's thought to have rented the home for the entire duration of her stateside trip, ending in London on August 20. Taylor will reportedly use the home as a base for rest bite between gigs – and she could already be there after wrapping her first three shows in Scotland, before kicking things off again at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium on Thursday.

The countryside retreat is near private members club Soho Farmhouse, worlds away from a busy city in a countryside backdrop loved by the Beckhams, Amanda Holden and of course home to Jeremy Clarkson and his Diddly Squat Farm and farm shop.

"Taylor has booked the cottage while she is over in the UK," a source told The Sun. "She wants a place to unwind away from the tour and the countryside is her happy place. Taylor loves dressing up in sequins on stage but is most at home in muddy boots in the fresh air," the insider concluded. It's no secret that Taylor likes the great outdoors, famously visiting Worcestershire with her British ex Joe Alwyn, 33, back in 2021.

Visiting The Fleece Inn in at the time, the couple – who called it quits last March – were staying with fashion designer Stella McCartney. Pub landlord Nigel Smith claimed the songstress came in "a number of times" and enjoyed his home-cooked British food.

She'll likely be heading back and forth between the cottage and her venues, possibly staying in hotels in-between shows. Taylor will be returning from the £1,000-a-night Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Edinburgh, and will likely be followed by her team of security, all driving blacked-out BMW 4x4s.

The grand celebrity hot spot has previously welcomed a number of famous faces, including Charlie Chaplin, Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, and many more. The 34-year-old's security was seen covering doors and surrounding the venue.

How to buy Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets

Taylor Swift fans looking at resale tickets for the upcoming Eras Tour in the UK can purchase them from from a number of online retailers right now.

Sites such as viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee.”

Although the above sellers, including viagogo and Vivid Seats, are not "official" retailers, they do have a number of strict terms and conditions in place to keep ticket buyers and ticket sellers safe.
